An invitation to know Jesus
You do not need to have every answer to take a first step. Discover the hope of the gospel, talk honestly with God and find someone to walk alongside you.
The good news
God made you with dignity and loves you. His desire is for you to know Him and share life with Him.
Genesis 1:27; John 3:16
All of us have sinned and turned from God's ways. We cannot repair our relationship with Him simply by trying harder or doing enough good things.
Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus Christ, God's Son, died for our sins and rose again. Through Him, God offers forgiveness, reconciliation and new life.
Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Turn toward God, acknowledge your sin and place your trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord. Receive His grace and begin following Him.
Mark 1:15; Romans 10:9-13
Speak to God in your own words
This prayer is a guide, not a formula. Salvation is God's gift through Jesus; repeating particular words does not earn it. What matters is turning to Him in sincere faith.
God, thank You for loving me. I admit that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I turn to You and place my trust in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me, make me new and help me follow You. Teach me to live by Your grace and the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.
You can also begin with an honest prayer: God, I have questions. Help me understand who Jesus is and how to trust Him.
What can I do next? →Grow one step at a time
Share your questions, needs and gratitude. Make time to listen and ask for His help.

Begin with the Gospel of John. Read a small passage each day and ask what it shows you about Jesus.
John 20:30-31
Connect with a church that teaches Scripture, centers on Jesus and welcomes you into worship and supportive relationships.
Hebrews 10:24-25
Ask a pastor about baptism and what it means to publicly identify with Christ and His people.
Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38-42
Tell a trusted Christian about your decision or questions. Following Jesus is a lifelong journey, and you do not have to walk alone.
