AHDG Remote Support
A helping hand, with your permission.
Contact AHDG to arrange a support session before opening a tool below. After you approve a desktop request, your technician can see your screen and control your mouse and keyboard. Close private documents before approving access.
Windows 64-bit · Session helperWindows support
Open the helper when you need assistance. This Interactive edition does not install a permanent background service.
- Download and open the Windows helper.
- Click Connect, then approve the technician’s desktop request when it appears.
- Use the connection toolbar to end desktop control. Close the helper to end its connection to AHDG.
For Windows x64 computers. If your browser or Windows displays a security warning, contact AHDG with the exact message before proceeding.
Mac · Installed support agentMac support
The ZIP includes a universal installer for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. It installs a background agent that remains installed after your session. Desktop control still requires your approval.
- Download and unzip the Mac package, then open MeshAgent.pkg and follow the installer prompts.
- Allow Mesh Agent / meshagent in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and Screen & System Audio Recording. Menu names can vary by macOS version.
- Approve your technician’s desktop request. Use the connection toolbar to end desktop control.
Already have Mesh Agent installed? Contact AHDG before installing so we can protect your existing support setup. See the removal steps below.
You choose when control starts and ends.
Desktop sessions require your approval and show a connection toolbar. File access and terminal access require separate approval. Downloading a tool does not give a technician permission to start desktop control.

Mac: I can see only the wallpaper, or mouse control does not work.
Contact AHDG before changing permissions. If an agent update left an old permission entry, AHDG can guide you through removing that Mesh Agent entry and adding the installed executable again in both Accessibility and Screen & System Audio Recording. Restart the Mac, sign in and approve a fresh connection. Leave unrelated apps’ permissions unchanged.
Mac: How do I stop or remove the installed support agent?
The connection toolbar ends the current desktop session; the background agent remains installed. To stop and remove its startup service, open Uninstall.command from the same downloaded ZIP and follow its prompts. Contact AHDG if macOS blocks the removal tool or you need help removing remaining agent files. You can also revoke its permissions in Privacy & Security.
If this Mac already used another Mesh Agent installation, contact its administrator before removing the agent.
Do I need an AHDG technician account?
No. Customers use the download buttons above and approve requests on their own computer. The AHDG technician sign-in is for authorized support staff.
